It's obviously worth it though mate.

Yeah paint job is a way off for me at the moment but its on the cards
Engine bars are a must I think, I shudder at the thought of laying this bike down

Now that really is a sweet looking ride, lovin it man
Decal looks great too, I've seen that stuff at purpleharley stateside.

Couldn't agree more Steve, it doesn't bear thinking about the amount of damage you could have done had the engine bars not been there.
they are simply a must buy for these bikes

I always try to keep my bikes upright but I ain't so good at it, thats why my mates call me crash
So far the Intruder has stayed upright but I always remember the grim reaper is only around the corner

You should take up cycling....I've got mates I cycle with that have paid more for their pushbikes than I did for the C50T.

The good thing about having a workshop full of parts is I can strip the bike right back as I have at the moment or should the mood take me, get all the accessories out and fully dress her.

Just a quick note (whilst I'm looking at that bloody seat again ) your Signature is so 2012 ! C'mon Dave your doing that many mods ! you haven't got time to keep your signature in order

Here are the first pictures of my bike after last years smash-up in a ready for the road way. The MOT is next weekend so after refitting the newer stereo (a separate write-up will be done).  Also fitting my newer 16" ape-hanger bars which are replacing the scrapped 14" apes, which are modelled by one of my 5 daughters Nikkita .

Yes it is Pete, that was due to the RTA last year. I will change it but that will stay there for the sake of the bikes safety until I get another. Don't know when though at the moment.

Know what you mean about making it do until you can sort it properly as I've done it myself mate!

bikes looking good Dave,  probably a little bit of a mixed bag of emotions as you will soon be riding her after quite a long while.  After I had op and couldn't ride my bike for some months it took a while till I felt like I could ride my bike properly again .
Take it easy mate ride safe enjoy great to see ya back on the road again

Nice one davey, good to see Nikkita (boo) still loves bikes. Like farther like daughter eh      Gotta say matey that you would never know that bike had done somersaults at high speed, looking great 

Bike looks well Dave,got to agree with Morgan "take it easy,ride safe and enjoy",no wheelies for the first week.

Alfie I will be only riding it for short distances at first but only when I feel upto it. I will be so careful while I get used to riding again.

Very cool Dave, wouldn't mind some ape bars myself but wouldn't want to go thru the hassle of changing cables etc, but looking very good indeed. Take it easy when you get back out there or get a Trike............ no falling off!

Keep sake David, by the way that is a lovely looking bike. Always fancied some ape hangers myself but I would  look rather silly with my short skinny frame hanging on.

Ken the blacked out (sprayed)  speedo housing is just one of the things I sprayed. I have also sprayed the pair valve housing & chrome surround to the rear light.

Have to say Dave - with you all the way on blacking the chrome, really suits a black bike !

I don't have a tank protector on my bike - think you're looking at the picture of Daves ?  Unless you mean the trim on the tank seam on mine
