| I'm gonna stick some 12" on mine.
I was thinking of selling and getting a Victory or a Honda Stateline imported but I'm gonna stick with the Intruder and do more to it.

| Been looking around the net and your 13" apes are pretty rare, normally they run at 12", 14" & 16"s. The more I see your bike the more I want them it's driving me mental so I'm looking for a set of 14"s. I sat on Freemo's bike and loved the feel but they are just a fraction to high for me at 16" so I will just drop down a fraction. Gotta get em soon. | |

| Well they were advertised as 13" ... I'll have to check ! but they are actually Harley handlebars, cos they got the dimples , though they have been drilled to take the locating pins on the 800 switchgear .... But I gotta admit I like 'em ! | |

| These are the closest I can find but the knurling is at 3.5" center but our bikes are at bloody 4" LINK
Exile are yours 3.5 centres & if so does that work out ok, because I might just get the ones I have found if I can't find 4" centres. Another thing is, I have found some on Ebay LINK that have no knurling at all, will these be OK?

Now thats the kind of independent thinking we like here, after all its just to give a grip key. Thanks for helping me see the wood through all those trees Sim, I will order them now

| I have ordered the ones with no knurling now Alfie, I reckon by the time I have scrubbed them up a bit with the Dremmell they will be as good as gold. | |

| Been looking for cable kits for the last few days Clutch/Brake and I found these LINK pretty good prices I thought. The reason I wanted a kit was probably a bit anal but I would like to get everything to run uniform from both sides of the handle bars down to the triple trees & with these you can make up an exact length. By buying the kit rather than cables that are already at set lengths, you can keep all cables and all extended wiring in two neat runs with all cables tied together. If anyone knows where I could get a brake hose made up to a specific length rather than straight off the shelf, please let us know, as I am completely lost here as to which bits to buy | |

| Exile, where did you get your clutch and throttle cables from mate? Did you buy kits or have the extended by the retailer to your requirements? | |

| Dave if you re route your clutch cable so that it does not clip on to the frame at the rear of the engine you could run that up the side of the engine by the pair valve and it could stay in front of the tripple tree rather than behind it. That would save a couple of quid | |

| Just ordered the cables via a kit that you make up yourself, which is great as I can get the exact length that I want. So as soon as the cables and hose arrive, its game on. | |

| 2 to 3'' higher than stock means that you are a nice guy, but not to be messed around. Hope that helps. | |

| I put 10 in Z bars on my mine and the brake and clutch barely fit. However if I add fork extenders I'll have to purchase cables and lines. Any intell on a cheap place to get all extended cables and lines?
Trying to load up a photo of my bike now

| Exile, have you thought about a rider back rest? The bike loos great as is, and I usually don't go for apes. These do look good though. What are the two bikes hiding in the background? Projects? | |
