Tyre pen, words outlined on.......... 2001 Suzuki VL 800 Volusia

Did my tyres with a tyre pen from Halfords yesterday, pleased with the out come, bit time consuming but easy enough.

I wonder if that'll go yellow/brown'ish if the tyres are new.

Tyre paint does that on painted whit walls but if this did do it it would just be a matter of touching up, much easier than doing a whit wall and probably no where near as noticeable as a large area. Probably a slightly different compound as well, time will tell, looks good as it is though, I have seen loads of just writing done on tyres with tyre pens and probably because they only do a small area the all look very good, may be different if used on large areas whivh they are not designed for though

When I'll put some extra miles on mine I will do the exact opposite...mask out the "Venom" etc so it stays black when I paint the walls.

Following on with the black on white theme.....the lettering on white walls could be painted black !!!
