Hello from the Isle of Lewis

A big hello from the small Isle of Lewis, which is off the north west coast of Scotland. I purchased my Suzuki Intruder in May 2014, I opted for the C800B as I liked the stealth design and wasn't wanting to spend 50% of my biking time dedicated to polishing chrome. I'm a proud dad, but a 5 year old does eat into the ammount of free time that I have.

I am a member of the British Legion Bikers, I went for a run with them when they were up on the island in July 2014 and joined as soon as I reached home.

I am an advocate of open source computing and run Linux on all of my systems, I do a few podcasts on open source news/software and creative commons music: Crivins (technology talk), TuxJam (open source software and ccmusic) and CCJam (music only, so you don't need to be a geek to enjoy). I love discovering new artists and am regularly trawling the music on Jamendo.

I like sports and am a big (armchair) fan of football (Rangers FC) as well as the American version (New Orleans Saints). I was a season ticket holder for the Claymores back in the days of NFL Europe. As well as enjoying watching boxing.

I am a Christian and an elder in St Columba's Church in Stornoway, I like to get involved with the various activities there.
