| Nice looker BONE, I think thats where I will end up one day. Love the bars, did it come with them on already. I would like to get some ape hangers some time but I have no idea where to get the cables from. did you fit them or were they already on the bike?

| I would buy your bars first and then see if you do actually need cables I did not think mine would fit but turned out ok. As for the whitewalls they are metzellers and yes quite expensive I think nearly £300 for the pair I could have got a pair of new whitewalls on ebay for about £140 for the pair but I wanted a non standard one up front as mine is now fatter than the standard size. | |

| ouch that must have hurt! The saving grace I suppose is that there will be several rear tyres changes to every rear tyre change. Did you go larger back and front, I would be interested to know the sizes you've gone too? | |

| Only larger up front could'nt find larger for the rear in a white wall. I'll check the front size at some point as cant remember at mo | |

| Bone did you chop the stock pipes yourself, first time I have seen that done! That was a possible mod that I was thinking about before I bought me Vance and Hines Cruisers. That don't look half bad at all. I like that stock pipes I just feel they are to long! Very interesting | |

| That's very much down to the MOT testers discretion or lack of it, which very often seems to be the case. Heres a trick for you that will enable you to find which one does and which one doesn't, as the last thing you want to do is pay for the MOT and find it's failed simply because the tester is a cock. simply do a round of your local bike testing stations and pretend your a bit naive. Tell the tester your due an MOT in a bout 5 or six weeks but was unsure if the exhausts would pass or not if he says no then never darken his doorstep again. If he says yes then your good to go. | |

| Went for a spin yesterday have'nt finished seat yet so decided to use it as it is not the best idea I painted the metal seat pan and was going to use it like this. Started up bike into gear nearly flew of the back of bike as seat was so smooth. A really difficult ride just clining on for dear life. fixed it now sort of by glueing sand paper to seat pan. | |

| Yeah I can see why, Needs a bit of curve on the rear end. Its at one hell of angle, might be worth getting some gripper seat cover | |

| Thanks close up it actually looks a bit rough and around the edges and bodged photograph makes it look quite good. I managed to do everything pretty cheap which is what i like apart from the whitewalls that is and hopefully I have ended up with a bike thats a bit different. | |

| well your certainly on the way well maybe it is a bit ruff around the edges but it's mot'd and a one off you've gotta have a foundation to build on and you certainly got that. I will be watching your bike in the future with great interest. | |

That's what it's all about. I love it. Amazing what you can think of sometimes, when you wander around shops like that, or big DIY outlets. [ Damn .. that would be perfect for my .......... ] I like the big bars. [something I would like as well] ... I also want to keep the original risers when I get a set, as I have a 06, I think the cables are longer, I will have to offer up a set, and see. That's a bloody fine bike you have there Bone. | |
