Yep - I'm an old codger, Had my VL800 since Nov, I've had two VZ800 in the past, riden all round Ireland and Northern Europe.

I've been away from riding for around 5 years due to various other commitments, now I'm knocking on heavens door 51 next week I want to get as much out of my life as possible I see rallying, riding, and camping taking up my free time.

I do require a standard toolkit for my VL800 to pop into my tool roll - if anyone can direct me I would be happy.

Looking forward to Spring , so I can practise puting my tent up - and finding it in the dark pis$ed.

Please drop me a mail if your ever in Scotland - you are welcome to pop your tent on my land - I have a wee bit !

The standard tool kit ain't worth spitting at in my opinion but I am sure we could come up with the basics you should carry, I will start a thread in the maintenance section.
