Big hello to everyone on here,

Have the final part of my test on Friday and my beautiful machine waiting for me in the garage, can't wait to be back on two wheels again. Chances of my battery being flat? pretty high me thinks after not being ridden for a week or so... : (

Welcome to the site Tim. If the bike has been stood for only a couple of weeks then it should be fine, I have left mine for over a month and had no issues. But then again it depends on the state of the battery I guess.

It may be worthwhile buying a trickle charger and leaving it connected to the bike during sustained periods of inactivity.

Bodged the test. Got hopelessly confused on a big roundabout in Saulsbury and thought it was all over, turned out I'd only picked up 6 minors except I had run a red light on the corner of a hill 30 seconds before getting back to the test centre

So 10 working days + bank holidays so that means no retake till the 20th. So just going to spend my time kitting and modding the bike ready for the 20th.

Its going to be a long 3 weeks especially as its my only transport

You'll crack it next time.

Don't worry I know you must be fed up but its just a matter of time before that throbbing beast is between your legs

Put it behind you now,when you next take your test you will at least have prior knowledge of it.The rewards are amazing,just stay focused,summer is nearly here.

it's not a great feeling to fail your test but just try to relax on the next,you'll be fine and there's nothing like passing.best of luck next time,fingers crossed
