Hey John! I have a friend that just won't understand why I "moved down" from a sport model to a cruiser: Italy is filled with people with one-track minds about "the more speed the better". That is, regardless of brand or origin - they're just trying to jump of a cliff, IMHO
I do have trouble on the other side: in my town (which isn't small, being at 125k-people count) there is only one place that sells accessories for metrics, and no mechanic! Everything appears to revolve around H-D, I guess that it's mostly for status symbol...
Still, anytime I go around, I notice plenty of heads turning in wonder and curiosity
