| Bloody hell Sim, you have been really going for it. All that in only 6 months, way to go buddy I see your planning an air filter mod, I presume that means adding a K&N or similar hi-flow filter and opening up the air box at the same time as adding a fuel injection module? As for the drive train upgrade, I also want one but they are as rare as rocking horse shit over here, probably have to buy in from state side. | |

| You will be shocked at the power increase you will get when you have done them, I know I am, when I ride a bog standard 800. I know if we wanted max power in the first place we would hove bought different bikes but it isn't about maximum power in a general way but for me I like to know I have all the horses this bike has released without any being reined in unnecessarily. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Oh got don't get me started on horses again as the first thing that popped into my head was that fekin bloody great big huge massive enormous scary 1 horse powered beasty thing Jo rides with the evil eye and sticky out tounge Jesus, that thing gives me the Heebie Jeebies | |

| thank's guy's, im really looking forward to it.
simbo did you set it at 0.5 revolutions, should give you a reading of between 1050-1100 rpm on tick over after the engine's warmed up. its not as spot on as a proper one but its cheap and does the trick.

| Yeah Lez, set at 0.5 after finally figuring I had to use a pencil to push the button in I like the built in total run time and highest revs of your last ride function too. | |

| A bit of colour on the cables has been added to the list, I got some uv cable cover, not sure where yet ? I might just do the bottom half of the clutch cable. | |

| Is there a reason you bought uv cable, and what is it actually for. I remember another member added that and it looked good I think they used red if memory serves. Great idea to add a splash of color to the otherwise boring bits | |

| Just to add a little colour to the boring bits like you say, It will just slide over the cable/wire etc then shrink wrap either end,it comes in all different colours. | |

| Great stuff, will look forward to how it all looks when done. I would personally disconnect the clutch cable at the lever end Sim & then slip the covering to wherever you want it to be, much easier than undoing the other end in my experience. Will look forward to your thread with the write up & pictures. | |

| I am now in possession of some 1" handlebar risers from Shapemaster (USA) and am intending to fit them over the winter! Hopefully will result in the risding posisiton on my VZ800 being a little more comfortable than it already is! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-Boulevard-M50-handlebar-risers-1-tall-Smooth-VZ800-and-M50-SALE-/200784950545?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ebfb73511 | |

Nice buy The Ebay item description makes the VZ800 almost un-ridable in standard form ? which I find very hard to believe, half an hour before getting shoulder, neck and back pain ? they will make a difference though

| Bloody hell, that's with a throttle boss as well. That throttle boss really does make a big difference, especially on long rides. It makes me very jealous when I think how much I paid for the Kuryakyn originals. Great buy Sim. | |

I'm pretty impressed by them Better than I expected for sure, They won't be to the standard of Kuryakyn I wouldn't have thought but they're a bargain at £20. I bought them on the 12th and they arrived today so not bad for delivery either.
