Hi, My name is John and I live in Perth, Western Australia where the weather is conducive to riding all year round. I purchased my 2010 M50 3 years ago, after not having ridden a bike for 15 years. 50k km later and I still can't get enough of it.
Mods so far include: National Cycles V-stream windshield (got the M90 size as they don't have one for the M50) - Wouldn't be without now. V&H Cruzers pipes. Added extra home made baffles to bring the volume down to an acceptable level. Palladin quick removable sissy bar and rack. Oxford heated grips - It does get a little cool in winter. Cobra FI 2000 powerpo tuner - another good purchase. Titanium peg feelers - more economical than OEM with added fun factor. Tried the Kuryakyn swing wing pegs but they weren't for me - felt like I was doing the splits when they were extended and reduced ground clearance during cornering way too much with nowhere to fit peg feelers.
Have already found some useful information on here. Maybe I can help with some of my experiences.

A big fat welcome from Manchester UK.... where of course the weather is also very conducive to riding 365 days a year (if you're a fish).

Also known as "Bank Sensors". They are attached to the footpegs and let you know when you are approaching maximum lean angle by scraping on the ground.
