Killer Chrome Risers & Accossories, Suzuki C800 / C50

I've just got these risers, Do you think they're dangerous ? or am I being a little over cautious.

Dangerous yes but I agree that it looks too cool to worry about that. Just dont head butt it.

Put them on Simbo and crack on with your hedgehogg look, its cool

Super dangerous, but the width at the base means it will only penetrate about an inch,
so they shouldn't hit any major organs, they are too cool though, and well worth the risk imho.

agree with badger probaly only go in an inch or so maybe jump inbetweeen your ribs ouch but on the bright side they look nice so it's a fit them from me

There could be a bonus to these risers, in the event of a minor accident you may get a free nipple piercing. Any way in the event of an accident you would go over the bars not down on them, probably

Cheers Badger With all my major organs safe, I'll definitely go for the fitting of them In the event of a minor accident I'll hopefully throw myself clear and take a soft landing , In the event of a serious accident the risers will be the least of my worries

Here they are fitted and looking positively dangerous

I would willing bet £100 against anyone willing to bet a pinch of shit, that it has no bearing on the MOT. I have just read through the MOT requirements for UK motors and they can not fail it for this or anything like it! If safety was such an issue for motorcyclists, we wouldn't get on our bikes in the first place. Those risers only stick up above the speedo housing about a centimetre so you would have to be a contortionist to get stabbed by them.

Do'nt get me wrong I think they look pretty good, but Simbo asked opinions on wether people thought they were dangerous or not I am just giving my opinion, hope that's alright.

Of course it is, we are having a discussion.

In all honesty they do look scary when your sat on the bike, but if I was overly concerned about the safety factor of them, I wouldn't be riding a bike in the first place. Fortunately, the tops come off by hand in about 5 seconds just in case the guy who's been MOT'ing my bikes for years suddenly turns anal. Cheers guys they do look good and I've had the approval from the boss (Jo) to keep them on the bike as long as I never go above 90mph.

These risers are becoming a bit of a sore "point" !

sim nice extra mate are they for holding apples while you ride one for you and jo ha ha they look great

You just have to make sure that you are going fast enough that you clear the handlebars on impact

Yeah I've got these grips on, They look ok together.

I've now fitted the 2" chrome risers on the Killer Chrome Risers (kindly swapped with Mr intruder for my aluminium ones) I'm back to being comfy again

Rear brake adjuster, (cheers Phil I spotted this on yours )

Rear seat bolt,

Side stand bolt,

Final drive oil filler bolt,

I have to be careful I don't get stabbed whenever i go in the garage now

Bloody brilliant Sim, you have surpassed yourself with this. The final drive spike and fork nut covers are excellently excellent & go so so well with the killers, the triple tree area on your bike is very cool.
I have soooo gotta get me a couple of those fork bolt covers and the final drive one, but I gotta do it when she who must be obeyed won't notice or I will get an ear bashing. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Look well Sim,we should start to call you "Spike" much more appropiate.
