dont think im being ignorant if i dont answer you all straight away, i may be just struggling with where to put text etc lol, i am but a mere biker after all hahahaha......
im after some slip ons for my bike at mo if anyone in the northwest got a great sounding bargain for me........
cobra would be great but il have a look at different ones as im a newbie to my suzuki.....
i also need some ,urm, pannier stays? the rails to hold my panniers on. told you i was a newbie lol.......
anyway, hope i may be sum use in all the convo's 1 day when i learn more stuff lol

What kind of panniers you got Trish? I originally fitted a grungy pair of throw over leather panniers, and got off ebay a pair of chrome brackets a bit like the pic below...

They were actually off a Harley, but with a gentle flexing they fitted my M800 fine, so with a little shopping around, you dont necesssarily need dedicated suzuki ones - just check the distmance between centres.



This type doesnt really carry the weight of the panniers.... they just stop them flapping into the rear tyre.

But I now have rigid plastic panniers, and they use a rigid bracket which the panniers bolt onto.

Whichever pannier bracketry you go for, they generally fix onto the bolts holding the rear mudguard & chrome strut. These bolts can be OK to get off, but a bugger to get back on. You'll prob need longer bolts too, so feel free to ask all the talented members on here for info before you get the spanners out
