Cleaner back end.

I'm thinking of doing this mod ? with standard indicators attached to the rear fender and small reg fixed higher up the rear, I've ordered some led reg plate bolts to attach and light the number plate up, Will they just connect to the existing reg light wires or will I need anything else added ? They're 12v led with live and earth.

I am also doing that, already ordered the indicators and the plate lights. I will spray the chrome rear light surround black at the same time & yes you use the existing wiring.
