| Hi,
Has anyone seen a mount anywhere that enables you to hide the reg plate under the fender? That would be a very cool mod for any shows/events where once parked up for display you can simply flick a switch and the plate would slide under the fender, out of sight.
I know that some bikers use something similar (flip-up plates) to get away from cameras etc so I reckon this idea might have legal implications. If not, grand.

| Pretty sure those are illegal but unless you draw attention to it by using on the road then nobody would know it was there | |

| Gray area then.
Possible overkill then as it would be easier to remove side mount instead while on show or something.

| Definately overkill for the effect, different if you were using it regulary. | |

| Yeah I have seen them loads of times over the years. A lot of them I have seen are setup with a small motor and a load of hassle. Not sure why anyone would want to spin a plate out of site for any reason other than to go through speed cameras at high speed or to get away from the old bill | |

| Nice little novelty for shows Marcin but I agree with Crash it would be a lot of hassle for very occasional use. Although it could come in very handy for when your in a rush. A mate of mine who is a bit of a naughty boy (allegedly) has a spare plate that he copied from an identical bike from a showroom. When he is out for a long distance trips he pop's that one on, very naughty but very effective. | |

| Agree...that could well be a mod that's last on the list. As for the practicality...hell, who cares..how many things people do to bikes just for show, not practicality. | |

| There was a video on here somewhere? showing a reg plate with a motor fitted to it, The reg plate sort of swung out then underneath the rear fender out of site, a little slow for speed camera's, I think it was along the lines of what your looking at. | |
