Clear Lights on Rear of C800

Finally got around to changing my indicator Lenses & Bulbs over from the horrid orange blobs that come as stock!
I am much happier now that I have both the rear light & indicators changed over

The clear lights look sooooooo much better Mr Intruder Sir, I likes it
I see the indicator lenses are slightly smoked which I think looks better the the totally clear as you end up focusing on the orange bulbs!

Can I ask how much and where from?

PS, I love the clear rear led light, much much nicer than stock

They are on ebay all the time, I bought the clear led light from them as well. the indicator kit cost £43.50 delivered from Germany. You need two sets at £19.99 plus delivery

Mr. Intruder, I got inspired from you and got a set for my bike too. Say, did you have a fitting problem too?? I had to cut off half the upper tap so I could twist the new glass in the housing. Otherwise the bottom screw could not hit the hole in the reflecor. This was misplaced "half a hole". But I succeeded. Did you pack the neck of the reflector inside the housing too?

I found them to be extremely tight, so I smeared wd40 on them and twisted with caution and they went on ok.
I did not pack anything

about packing - its because the original were packed to prevent water getting into the housing. I used ordinary rubber stripes for sealing windows. Believe my c800 has an older model lamphous than you.

Yes I did notice that the original had a seal and that the replacement did not, however I did not feel that it would be an issue as the replacement is a very tight fit & there is a drain hole in the bottom

Ghaaaah.. why don't they sell things that fit the things they sell them for?

WD40 was all I needed but if everything was perfect in everyday we wouldn't feel so good about ourselves when we sort out life's little problems.

I got a problem at home that needs sorting, it's 5"7' high and has a massive hole at the top that to much bloody noise comes out of

I was getting ready to say that the clears are standard over here but then I did a bit of web crawling and discovered that they aren't. Fortunately for me on my bike they are. Must have been one of the special features for the 09 M50.

[img:9846]https://www.suzuki800.com/[/img] Hi Dave I have these indicator bulbs fitted this is were I found them type chrome indicator bulbs in your ebay search engine,mine cost £2.99 a pair.99p postage.As you can see when you are running they look clear,cleans your back end up,and they do flash amber,and are road legal.The right hand one is Chrome and the left is amber,to show you the difference.

Good one cheers, I will get some of those. That will look much nicer in my smoked indicator lense to lose the orange tinge

Very simple Alfie if you hover over the little icons above the black box that you right in, you will see a little icon that looks like a chain link. when you are hovering over it for a second or two it will say "Link", click on it and you will see 2 red oblong boxes, you place the link address in the top one and type what you want everyone to see in the bottom one.

The amount of chrome extra's you have on your bike, you should have been called Mr Chrome not Mr Intruder
