A new 2008 M50 owners (Huntsville, Alabama)

 

I recently bought a 2008 Suzuki M50 (two-tone black and silver). I've been reading this site and wanted to join because there is good stuff here, and I'll have plenty of questions. I'll try to post a picture soon. The bike has 3,000 miles, and is in exc cond. The bike is completely stock (for now). Some of the mods that I'm thinking of now are Cobra Slashdowns, chrome crankcase from a C50 (if it fits), spoke wheels from a C50 (if they fit), or maybe aftermarket chrome wheels. I havent seen anybody changing out wheels so I dont know if that would be too involved. First priority is the Slashdowns. I know you can either rejet your carb or get a fuel processor with the Cobras, but I've heard alot of people say that they have to change the settings on the processor alot just to get it right. Is it easier to just rejet?

Your probably thinking why didnt you just buy a C50. I did want a C50, but I just felt more comfortable on a M50.

I know this is a UK hosted website, but it appears there are people on here from all over. I'll traveled a few times to the UK and loved it!
