| That's a bit naughty to ask us without you telling us! I have just done a helmet count & I have eleven all in their bags hanging up. I have all sorts and types but right now I am using the Shark Evoline which looks like a proper open face helmet as the chin bar flips all the way over to the back when you want an open face helmet and locks back in to the front when full face is wanted. Around town I like the open face facility but as soon as I pick up any speed I go to full face. It also has the in built sunnies LINK to Evoline Helmets Sadly my model didn't have the bluetooth, oh well | |

| Yeah Baby! I likey I am always scared I will spend out for a helmet like that and as soon as I get one, it would follow by more spending, only this time on a fine from the old bill | |

To be fair most old bill give bikers a better ride than car people, I used to run the biggest modified car club in the UK a few years back and we got major hassle but to be fair most normal cops dont get involved with pulling over for checks unless something looks a bit iffy, but traffic do stops all the time BUT most traffic cops ive ever met are bikers aswell, hence we get a bit more grace on bikes.

| This is my main helmet as I ride mainly around town. Open faced Duchinni with a visor for speed and to keep the bugs off. The turnkeys broke off a while back so I replaced them with metal bolts and washers. Old and tatty but we go everywhere together! Not very safety conscious but fairly cool with shades! For winter or longer journeys I wear this cheapo JFM full face with great eyes back and front. Mrs. B has one as well. I'm a bit of a tight arse when it comes to clothing - I've got loads of stuff but never pay very much. Finally this is my camera lid - I recently bought an Action Camera (video coming soon) and converted this old helmet with a bolt on bracket to keep the camcorder in just the right position for wide angle helmet cam shots. I use to use it when I was big a couple of years ago (XXL) and managed to slim down from 18 stone to 14 which I've managed to stay at. My head shrunk as I lost weight so it is way too big. I wear a hat inside which is not very safe but I only use it occasionally. | |

(and please no lectures on safety lol) No lectures coming from this direction, I wouldn't wear one if the law didn't say I had to (most of the time anyway). There is a thread on this (HERE) where we did this subject a while ago & I was pretty much in the minority!
