The Eagle has LANDED!!! ... Decal.

Well after many months, the weather finally let me get round to installing the Decal.
Most nerve racking Mod I've done to-date. Had to be all by eye and very very carefully and slowly.

Heads on. Body getting put on, this is it still wet, on the transfer film.


That is the template i used to give me a very rough idea of where it was going to sit.


Thats the body and the head on. left in the sun to dry.


Right wing on.


Left wing on and finished


And that was that! Oh and a little Azcam decal put on that Marcin chucked in for free...

Just need to figure a way out, to clean the bugger. In total this project has taking about 3 n a bit months.
Just glad its done now.

Just wondering if I should get it clear coated, if I can. Only thing that is stopping me, is if i decided to
sell it. It would mean the Decal was on for good? Not sure what to do??

Hmm I'd say there is one more thing stopping you.
To clearcoat, the shop would have to scuff the surface. Too late for that now.

I love the way it goes around the speedo housing.  

Not trying to put a damper on it but the tank looks dirty? Hope the decal stays on ok & did you previously clean the polish and waxes off the tank at some point before fitting it?

Cracking job there !!!

No damper Crash. Tank was fully prepped all the way. What you can see is water spots. Which were cleaned of each stage off the decal. Then care fully polished, but that was after the photo. Cotton buds did the job.

I noticed that but thought no way will that be a dirty tank with Arron, wash your mouth out Crash.  

Of course    should of know better from you
