Roxie! . . . . 2006 Suzuki VL 800

Well here she is my VL 800; looking pretty standard at the moment but there are plans afoot!  First one is to shrink that bloody ginormous number plate!!  :)

 I see what you mean about that plate, reduce that & you'll get another 30mph out of her (lol)     , nice looking bike

Yep; it is kind of embarrassing!  The number plate holder is BIGGER than the actual "legal" size number plate that's on it!  Still I must admit I have been toooo busy riding her around to worry about that; don't sweat the small stuff!!!  :)

Great looking bike, love the colours. Two tones look good anyway but thats real good   

As for the plate we have known guys relocate them to lower down, just a thought

Thought about moving the plate to the l/h side but not sure they'd be room when I have the back seat on and the panniers??  And if I did that I would probably feel the need to chop the rear fender; not sure if I want to go that way right now.

Mate if you side mount that plate it is going to pull left all of the time.

That is a nice looking bike David, one to be proud of.

That's a shinning example of the marque    .... but I can see others share your concerns relating to the number plate .... but that should be easy enough to sort

The raised plate is often relocated below the lights as with the later models.

Kind of had my hand forced today....

A few us went for a ride out and stopped in a pub for lunch; came out and my bloody reg plate was missing!  Rather than face a fine and points for riding without a VRN one of the lads volunteered to ride off and get me a new plate.  Cost me a few quid but now I just have a number bolted to the back!

Now I need to get a decent a decent number plate holder and jobs sorted!  :)
