£2.88 Drink Holder

Easy on/easy off clamp. Decided on mounting it on the crash bars as on the handlebar it hits the tank on full lock:



Also not a mod but some new gloves. Hardened knuckles and genuine leather, by Gear X at £14. Very comfortable, perfect for summer and they're short which i wanted.

Great mod with the drinks holder, another one for the to do list I reckon.

Bloody he'll, what a bargain. Cheapest I can find on Amazon of that design is £13.

Aha found them on ebay from a Hong Kong seller £2.68. ( LINKY )   Bought it, bargain.

Yea thats it. I just ran a search for 'bicycle drink holder' as motorcycle ones tend to be much more expensive.
Didnt link it in my OP because theres thousands of designs on Ebay. The wire ones are good too but i wanted something more robust.
Ideal for long trips and the easy on easy off thing is cool.

OMG I will be in my element, I can take a cup of rosie with me.

Good buy with the drinks holder Eazy, never seen that type before. Good money saver compared to the ones in england on ebay 

No probs, i enjoy sharing my cheap mods with the forum. 
Really love the gloves though, give a much, much nicer feel on the controls.

hi do you find the gloves warm ive got four pairs and the only part of me to get cold is my hands

I've only used them in 14c or warmer weather and they were fine, they're summer gloves though

I know in the US they sell a 'Cruzer Caddy' i think its called, which is a chromed cup holder which pivots based on lean so you dont spill the drink. Probably more popular among tubby Americans with their XXL milkshakes from McDonalds though

I love ordering cheap stuff fro ebay China, by the time it arrives I have forgotten it is coming. Plus the amount of stuff I order and forget about that costs pennies, it always seems like Xmas. Things come every week.

I need a flip front helmet to really benefit from my drink holder...

I usually ride with an open face helmet, so drinking tea as I am going along is not a problem. I have already thought about a cold drink. I have a bottle with an integrated straw, I can just lean forward and suck. Happy days, love it.

Ive since got a flip front helmet and now i can drink a bottle/can of pepsi when waiting at traffic lights. Its awesome
