Hello Everybody..

..Thats the Hello over with so onto me. Im 63 been into bikes as long as I can remember and had my VX800 since 2005. Its an American import originally manufactured in 1996 and registered over here in 2001. I have also had a Vs800 Intruder for many years but sold it a couple of years ago. The VX is off road at moment as Ive taken the hacksaw to it and attempting a Bobber conversion. One thing I love about my VX is the fact the previous owner splashed out on a stainless Vampire exhaust system for it. It burbles quietly if required but roars wonderfully when you have left the 30 signs behind. I also like the fact the VX has taller gearing than the VS had so is a bit more long legged. Its still also the longest bike in the world courtesy of that shaft drive.So thats me and my bike...Cheers everybody.

Hi General Ludd.. I'm a newb as well.. I just purchased a '96 VS800 and enjoying it although feeling a bit tom dick today so grounded.. Ha hack saw you say.. I'll tell the story about the angle grinder one day and why I'm banned from ever using one again.. :-)
