Just registered after owning my VL800 for about 4 months. Just love the bike.
Only issue I have, is that 2 up the lower silencer shroud grounds. not serious but un-nerving for my passenger!
Is there an easy fix for this.

  John. Have you tried putting the suspension onto a higher level or have you not found out how to yet? Search the forum for suspension & it will help you no end!

Welcome on board John - crank the rear suspension up a notch & see how that goes

 John - can't help with the 'grounding' issue becasuse I'm thick, but I'm sure there are people on this forum who will advise. Its full of people who have tinkered, played, modifyied and genraly buggered around with Intruders for years. 
Glad you're loving the bike.  If you're into ride outs - watch the forum, there's usualy someone doing something up the 'North' end (and frankly the nicer end) of the country.  We sometimes ride down to the 'South' end, just to show them how real bikers do it!
