Small windsheild?

Anyone know where I can get a small windshield for a 2015 VL800 (BOSS). I saw one on the same bike as mine at Rivvy Barn.  Very small and curved around the back of the headlight and just rose above the bars.  They guy who had it said he got it from Germany, but couldn't expand on who / where.  I'm not a massive fan of the 'straight up' style, would refer one with a little air flow over it.

I'm not a fan of the strip of metal across the bottom but I guess it could be matt blacked.


Been hunting for one for my M800 but it's proving to be awkward due to the shape of the headlight cowl.

I bought one of these  Link  but it gave a lot of buffeting so I took it back. Fit carefully and return if it is not to your liking!

And it looks exactly the same as the Puig version, wonder who copied who.

They do look alike don't they Mart, the national cycle one looks like it has better brackets though, they clamp on the fork shield and are quick release so you can swap between screens of various sizes, the puig ones only attach to the bars.

See how I feel in the morning and do a little more digging about.  Might just take the plunge and order on, see how it looks in the flesh.

Gotta say John, buffeting is usually because no lowers are fitted.

Coincidently exactly what Sim was saying today - mind you, I don't tend to go above 70 very often, well 60 really so may not get it as bad. Something to remember thought - Thanks.

Cheers Sim - yes they look OK, but can't see myself paying that much to import something that I'm not 100% sure about until seen in the flesh.  I'll bide my time for a while and keep looking.  Thanks for the link though.

Did they say it'd fit the 800 John? the one in the link is for an 1800.
