Yup! Bought a pair of gloves and some socks from there yesterday Dave.

How are the socks skid? I got some of those from Lidl and they are pretty good.

Seem alright when I tried them on. I haven't worn them when out on the bike yet though, too hung over today.

Good leather jackets for 100 quid but big sizes gone. No size 36 Kevlars near me unles you like black. Gloves look well made for 20 quid. I bought Blue Kevlars 3 years ago - worn nearly every day - still going strong.

Managed to get a pair of blue 36" Kevlar jeans today - that should keep me going a few years!

I called in there today too, all the socks from size 9-11 had gone!

I think its the first time for the last few years that I have not bought anything in one of Aldi's Bike Special Buys. Caron asked me if I was ok.
Lidl will have one soon :)

Yes thats a great thing, that the two shops seem to alternate a lot.

There's an urban myth that it was two German brothers who used be in business together, then fell out. So they each set up their own rival companies, but operating a very similar business model... aldi and lidl. Probably a load of old bollocks
