Painting Brake Calipers

Decided I don't like the standard black calipers on the Bandit so want to paint them.  Apart from making sure the caliper is scrupulously clean, any advice /tips on the best method?

Never done it, but I'm guessing brake cleaner to remove grime, then aerosol paint with any VHT paint, so it isn't  affected by the heat created by the friction when brakes are in use. Good luck, and take pictures

Stripe 'em down - get 'em powder coated.

Sorted - stripped down to basic casting.  Dropped of for coating. Got quoted £55 for vapor blasting all the old paint and crud of and then coated. (that's for both fronts and rear). Could only manage to get this down to 50 quid for cash
