How does she look?

What I did:

Washed with washing up liquid to strip all wax from the paint
Clay bar all over the paint
2 coats Super Resin Polish
1 coat Soft99 Fusso Dark wax sealant

Not cleaned any metal chrome yet, only applied the wax to plastic chrome which came out great. Not bad for a 12 year old bike

Very nice - can't believe  its 12 years old.

Thanks, getting it ready for MOT, tax and insurance for spring. Hadn't started it since November but fired right up. Only managed to cover 800 miles last year, plan to do some long rides around the country this summer

I plan to buy some FinishKare 1000P high temp wax for the wheels and chrome engine case too. Should make future cleaning a breeze

Thanks for the comments. I finished up by applying more Soft99 to any chrome which doesn't get hot, it really is a joy to work with. 
I then cleaned the wheels as best I could without spending all day, its an improvement but by far the worst part of cleaning these bikes.
Then lastly some leather cleaner and conditioner, which removed a lot of dirt of the seat and bags. Much darker black now, with a bit of gloss. 





Took about 4-5 hours.

Stunning! Intruders were just made to be looked after like that. Sadly, no one told me! 

Looks great, if you want you can fly across the pond to the US and clean my bike.

At first glance I was going to pull you up about the rad. guard needing an extra bit of elbow grease, then I realised it was just reflecting the gravel! ......
