looking for an vl800 k1 engine

hello everyone 
i am looking for a engine replacement 
as i just brought a k1 with a dead bottom end bearing scoring on pistons
any advise would be great

eBay or a breakers is probably your best bet, You'll need to be looking for a 01 to 04 engine for a straight swap as the 05 onwards went fuel injected and made slight changes which would require more work in fitting it.

i have tried ebay but i am yet to try breakers any thanks for the heads up on the years i need for a straight swap

Keep your eyes open as one will pop up when you aren't looking!
