| Hi guys, I have managed to get the handle bars off and all parts apart from the chrome part that is at the end of the grip. So I have the end weight off, the grip off but then its just the last part that makes the grips off. I need to get this off so I can take off the clutch lever and then so I can clean it and spray it black. Any tips? | |

| I just slid a thin screwdriver underneath and worked it round to loosen the glue. | |

Was that for the grip or the metal end? The part between the grip and the lever

| A squirt of WD40 can also help once you've got that fine screwdriver inserted between the handlebars & the grip. The little red plastic 'capillary' tube that comes with WD40 is ideal for injecting the fluid on the glue interface. ...... then apply rotational twisting action in alternate directions - it should loosen off the grip. | |

Sim's right mate, it should come off fairly easily - mine did when I fitted my heated grips.
