wiring harness & speedo-indicator

hey so here i am doing more nonsense to my bike as usual, so I got a wild hair up my ass and took my whole wiring harness out in order to locate a faulty wiring that may have been grounding out, upside there were many wires to repair downside apparently i am color blind because this is a pain in the ass, but that aside my main focus is my speedometer and the indicator cluster, a while back I took out both of those and just taped up the wiring and I shoved it behind a panel and called it a day, well as you guessed all my electrical issues began then! so I guess what I'm trying to get at is if properly cap and neatly store all the wiring from the speedo and cluster is there any way those wires not being connected any longer affect the performance of anything else? such as

No how could it the're all just different light wires.
