Hello everybody and thanks a lot for accepting me in these forums!
Guys at my 45th year of age, I became the owner of a "modern" Japanese motorcycle for the first time. I am saying modern since the rest of my bikes (mostly British, German and Italian) are from the 1970s and backwards.
Two months ago, my brother in law remembered that he bought a 1992 Suzuki Intruder 800, and left it in a barn for 12 years...! The next day, the bike was on a truck headed to my basement.
Now, my plans are to build a retro cafe racer out of this baby, and I will need all the help I can get...

Welcome to the forum, that looks like a good project. Create a thread, and keep us updated. Those European bikes you mention, can only go up in value if looked after. Although ...... bikes are for riding.

Thank you my brother for your reply! Your build is indeed very inspiring, and boobers are a style of bike I really like.
I am still not certain if I will go for a cafe racer or a bobber. A cafe racer conversion has a lot of issues from the design face (i.e. rear wheel replacement etc.) and I am still researching.

It's not my build, unfortunately. It's an Italian member's bike. He hasn't been active here for around three years, but I thought you could use it for inspiration and ideas.
