Subject: Basic Site Rules Sat Dec 03, 2011 11:44 am
1, Please do not post any content that could offend on the grounds of disability, religion, Sex or Race.
There is a fine line between what will and will not cause offence & that line is in very different places for different people so either post on the side of caution or don't post at all. In short, just because you and your mate think that something is OK does not mean that everyone else will
2, Please do not post negative content with regards to another members motorcycle.
unless it is genuine constructive criticism
3, Please do not use the forum to argue with another member.
If you have a genuine grievance with another member then either ignore them, send them a private message explaining your issue or contact site admin
4, Thread consideration.
Please respect the original content of a thread, it is unnecessary and disrespectful to deliberately change the direction of a thread. We respect the fact that a thread may evolve but very often the best thing to do is start a new thread if a conversation that is already running gives you an idea and you wish to talk on another subject or it may be moved or removed without notice.
5, Site promotion or re-direction (SPAM).
Promotion or re-direction to alternative/competitor sites or forums in not acceptable
Please remember that although this site is UK based, it has members from many countries and cultures and we must respect that!
Any content added to this forum becomes the property of the site and therefore is open to edit or removal by site administrators. Admin reserve the right to add too, edit and or change the site rules or any aspect of the site, threads, posts or any information contained on this site without notice or consultation. One example of this would be to change thread names for better clarity of the content contained within or to assist internet robots to direct traffic to a particular thread or this site in general.
It is the responsibility of all members to periodically check back to this thread to ensure that they are in alignment with current site rules.
The rules of this forum are but a few however they cover a large spectrum, in short please use common sense
Please remember and respect that this is not a profit making site and is predominantly run by one person with a small amount of assistance from 2 others. This site is run in a manor to which the original site administrator envisioned and although we are always open to new idea's they should be passed to the site administration team, if the Administrators then believe this to be viable it will be placed for open debate. Any grievances or concerns on how the site is run should be done in private conversation between yourself and the Administration team and not in open debate.
