Do you guys n gals use e10 or is it recommended to use the older e5 I've only just purchased my vx a very nice 1991 cheers

Hiya mate. I believe a 1991 bike may need E5 2002 Model Years and onwards - all motorcycles can use E10 with no problems. 1992-2001 Model Years – some models can use E10 fuels and some models cannot. The user should contact their national importer for clarification. 1991 Model Years and earlier – RON 98 (no bio-fuel content) must be used.

Thanks very much I'm gonna drain my fuel tank & refill with e5 n I'll continue in future to use that grade much appreciate the advice / info kind regards

No problem. I have a 2006 C800, and I do, now and again, fill up with 'the good stuff'. Probably don't need to, but it makes me feel better and she's worth it. ...........

Badger, so when I finished my delivery run earlier came home drained tank of my vx & of I headed to fill up with the e5 I kud you not its like night n day beforehand I was struggling to get up to 5000 rpm the new fuel already hitting 7000 rpm so there we go people incidentally I was riding an R registration vfr 750 on E10 had no problems whatsoever hmmph crazy as but thanks
