Well, been riding for almost 40 years and still enjoy twisting the throttle for a spirited ride. Have a few bikes in my collection one of which is a 1990 VX800 that I have owned since 2000. Its been stored for the last 3 years and just brought it out only a week ago, it has 44K miles on it and still runs like a champ. Use to belong to a VX800 board some years back but it does not seem to be operational anymore so I came aboard this one to find other like minded enthusiast of the 800's. looking forward to reading and hopefully contributing on this board. Welcome, Not too many of us in the states. I was a consultant for Montana Dakota Utilities back in the middle sixties doing gas leak surveys. I did leakage surveys of Lead, Deadwood. I guess things have change a little but beautiful area.

You are correct, things have changed a little bit in the past few years. Relocated from Alaska about 10 years ago, still miss it but the Black Hills always keep me occupied.
