Gleetings Folks, Recent purchaser of my first 'big' Suzuki (only previous was a GT500 2T). I'm recently retired and downsizing the bike collection to two. Was looking at one of the new Enfeild Meteor 650's and this was advertised in a dealer up the road. Reality was, the Meteor, even with the 'tour pack' would need footboards as extra, sissy bar really a 'bum stop', crash bars extra, and chain drive, (really think for western countries a belt drive option would have been a good idea). So would have been heading towards $15nz+ 2013 C50T with under 13000km? for under $10kNZ became a bit of a no brainer, similar power/torque, shaft drive with most of the extra's I'd want fitted... so here I am, the owner of a 'wee' C50T. So far very impressed with the bike. Certainly down on power compared to the others, but treat it the way it should be ridden and it's turning out to be a competent bike.

kia ora from foxton beach. I have a heavily modified 2008 50. best thing I have done is fit a diff from a 1600. it is like having a sixth gear, very relaxed revs at highway speed. have also fitted a twin disc front end from a 750 kawa, has improved the brakes. have cut scallops into the sides of fuel tank so much more comfortable without knees sticking out in the breeze.
