| I have discovered the 12v accessory power outlet in my VZ800 (K8) (2008 M800 by any other name) 's headlight. It terminates in a white connector with 2 terminals which seem to be at 90 degrees to each other.
Does anyone know where I can get a male connector to fit into the stock female connector? I don't really want to cut the stock connector off.
Also I read somewhere it's a 10A rated circuit..... does anyone know? I'm hoping to wire my heated grips into it.
Thanks | |

| It is a standard automotive connector, I can't tell you where to go over over there but any automotive accessory or autoelectric shop should have them. Otherwise you can just use standard crimp type spade connectors and they will fit into the 2 pin housing. | |

| Just finished wiring my heated grips into this connector..... works great! Couldn't find a connector block so just slotted some spade terminals in and taped it up. | |

| I have looked everywhere & I can't find them either, might be worth taking that one off and adding your own or run the wires in to a block connection so that you can run several items from it. If you want to run numerous items possibly think about adding a 12v cigarette/cigar type of connection like I have for the satnav etc Link | |

| I believe that connector is for the factory light bar (which incidentally I have read is crap) but obviously you can use it for anything you want. I believe I have a source noted somewhere for those connectors and will post if I find it. If you are doing your own wiring it might be worth making a pigtail with a spare take of in case you want to power something else later (though you won't power much else if you have heated gloves on that circuit).
I finally installed a secondary fuse panel for accessories. | |
