Red or Blue Wall Tyres

Love my white walls, some of you will know I painted my stock tyres with white wall paint & it turned out ACE! LINK
However as much as I think they look very Cool, I am thinking of stripping the white off and going either red or blue. If I do change them to either red or blue, I would then add that colour elsewhere such as cable covers and other bit to help with the highlighting (not too much).
I can't make up my mind as to whether it would look really cool or ridiculous, so what do you guys think?

I think this one need thinking about very carefully as I agree it could look very cool but may also look rediculous as you say.

I am inclined to say that it could look really cool but I think you are to far gone with your tyres to make it look good. The reason I say that is because you have very nice wide white walls but I think it would not look good as a wide wall. It would need to be half of the thickness to look good me thinks.

Could be wrong tho, be interesting to see what others say

Have you been drinking again? I love the white walls, personally, I think it's the biggest transformation of appearance on the bike. I think Red Or Blue would be just too much! A pin stripe on the rim possibly? but full wall of the tyre; nooooo! Adding a little colour with the cable covers is subtle and a nice touch, full colours like those on the tyre would take away from the classic lines of the bike and make it look a bit Del boy Trotter? Only my opinion though, so it would be nice to hear others and possibly see photo's of anything that's been done along these lines.

It is Christmas (nearly) so the answer to that would Yep.
Might be best If I stop thinking about bikes and concentrate on what I was doing so well before I started typing.

I have had trouble following it as my buttons all seem to be in different places to where you have yours.

Dave does it still seem like a good idea this morning without the alcholic influence

Why not go the whole hog and have all three colours, red,white and blue walls?

Yes it would be a feckin disastrous looking mess, I was definitely thinking outside the box on that one.
I think I had 1 over the 8 as they say last night, problem is I do like a Bacardi or 3 of a Saturday evening.

That may not have been the best idea, well to be truthfull it was a crap one but it's your "thinking outside of the box" that has generated so many great modifications in the past. Keep it up Davey boy
