| Down here in Cape Town in between lying about drinking wine under blue skies , we sometimes also fiddle in the workshop. Before and After fairly radical asthma removal. Needs some work but it's already a bit more exciting to ride. | |

| John what exactly have you done? Is this from stock air filter to a Uni or some other combination? | |

| Hi Mr I !
Firstly, it's not at conclusion as I can smooth out it's kinks, but it's a bye-bye airbox mod , using two very large K&N filters RU0680 front , and RA0470 rear. I am running mains at 140 & 145 which I plan to tweak to 145 & 148 today. The pilots I have porked, I shoulda left the stock ones in. The big secret is the Mikuni needles , 5DP7's , installed kinda backwards , the clip in the middle but that fat spacer and washer BELOW the clip ( where they have no function but to stabilize the needle in the slide ).
The essence of this Stage 3 is the result of our American friend known as Grant_Stl , who put in a massive effort to come up with a starting point Stage 3 for Marauder owners.
While I did not agree with all aspects of his work , he provided the air filter and needle solution and has made a massive contribution to the older VZ800 followers. All hail Grant, what a guy!

| Hi again
I've done the work returning the Pilot's to stock , and the final tweak to the main jets.
I need to return to the dyno to PROVE this setup is on the money.
If the dyno result is what I expect , we can post a standard Stage 3 procedure for others. But they will have to verify main jet selection themselves as the end can variable is always going to be there.
