Custom Speedo Face Fitted ......... 2001 Suzuki VL 800 Volusia

Well finally got round to fitting the Special Speedo Face to day so here you go guys.

And I got a proof now that special treatment I've given to the plexi works wonders for illumination :]

I wonder if the mask could go a bit lower to have the "get away with it" illuminated as well.

Is it easy to cut the mask to expose that section to the light or would I risk damaging it mate??

Easy peasy...it's just a thin vinyl from underneath.
Just don't press too hard so you don't cut into the plexi itself as it might distory the light a bit (not likely)

If you cock up the mask, I'll send you another free of charge in a letter, so the postage will be a quid or something? :]

It would frighten me to death taking the needle off the speedo. Looks great.

But use a fork and it comes right off :]

Had he done any for the M800 2010 onwards speedo?

I don't have a template for M series yet. (assume they're different)

How do you remove the instrument face?

If you'll wait a bit, I'm going to record a video of disassembly on mine for Ken who just enquired as well. It can't be much different (well the screws will be somewhere else) and it will give you a good idea what's involved.
