Member ranking.

I have introduced a new member ranking system, which is based at present on posts. It gains you very little except for recognition and access to the discount section for members. Recognition I believe is always valued & will be looked at constantly. Simply because you guys are the site & valued above all else.

There are some minor restrictions for site accessibility for Newbies and prospects.

Good addition Dave   Forums are all about people posting their comments, opinions and knowledge.

Ahhhh .... I see now, that's why my avatar 'tag' has changed today.

I also like how some members 'earn' a special tag ... such as 'hero globs' & even a 'Saintdom' !
..... which is good hearted banter by my reckoning !   

It goes to show how hard the administrators work to keep the forum alive, & us all happy.

Thanks again to the administrators   .... we would be lost without you !

Yes Martin, I had forgotten that.    I am also trying to work out a way of adding an additional way of automatically increasing member recognition within the rankings that is increased not only by post count but also due to post & time served. This would recognise members such as you, that are not necessarily as extremely active posters as some but are as valued non the less.

Yam as far as the earning a special rank such as 'Hero Globs or Saintdom', that's just the big kid in me playing up again. This is actually the main reason that the member ranking system came into play in the way it has again. I was messing about yesterday with some some special rankings of which you may possibly of been a victim.  As they say, watch this space, because the big kid in me hasn't grown up yet and is still trying really hard to get out.

Crash it isn't a rank just anybody can earn but it's one you deserved, so you got it. Do you feel special.  

Good idea Dave, but, I have to say like most men the Kid in them wasn,t locked up in the first place, always good to see a sense of humour  

I want a normal ranking I dont wanna be special anymore, I just wanna be normal     
      

Oi don't pick on me because I'm picking on you or your wife gets all the nasty posts you have written about her. In fact I will probably send them to her anyway, well unless you buy me a double sausage & egg Mcmuffin just to be nice.

Well Dave if you hav'nt grown up yet it's to late so just keep on kidding
