Helmet cover

My son came to me today and mentioned to me what he would like for Christmas, a helmet cover:



I said no way and said he should get this one instead:

A guy on a GSX600 rides down our street with one on everyday, Tickles me everytime I see him! 

Are they good in the rain? 

As long as vision isn't impaired then why not, looks like a fun add on to have.

You could look a bit of a 'Animal' in one of those !

Boots the chemist apparently sell quality helmet covers which are good in the wet. 

Pre-lubricated .... so they slip on easily (Or so I've been told).
