Cheers buddy, I couldn't have asked for a better set of pipes for the price I paid, had to make bosses for the lambda sensors and weld them in but that cost £2.00 so happy days!

They look really nice Mick, good pennies spent as they are good pipes.

Cheers pal, I decided not to cock about and boss em up, good move I think, runs brille and seems to have a bit more poke so happy days, doing the red ring thing (no, not that) on the M60 with Simbo, Mick and a few thousand others tomorrow so looking forward to trying them out!
Mick welded two bosses on the pipes so he could re fit the o2 sensors, He used 2 Subaru wheel nuts milled down for the bosses apparently? I'll let Mick explain in more detail when he's on next.
Thinking of HH short fat pipes. Wondering how difficult to fit.
Quite easy I'd have thought, Do they come with the o2 sensor bosses fitted? if not and you want to keep the o2 sensors you can request them be fitted at purchase to save you any hassle.
Hi pal, as Simbo said, I made some bosses out of Subaru wheel nuts which I turned down to seat them properly on my old lathe, I thought of the o2 eliminators from custom cruisers to keep the FI light out but didn't want to cock the running up so decided to fit the sensors into my new pipes. As I understand, you can run the bike with the sensors still connected to the loom but not in the exhausts but my question is, as the sensors have four wires they must be heated as the four wire types are, ( o2 sensors do not work until they reach a certain temp so have heating elements in to speed up the process) these get bloody hot and I would personally not like my o2 sensors setting fire to my pride and joy! If you go down the route of leaving them connected but not in the pipes then check how hot they get. Just a thought!
I understand that an exhaust should not blow, it should not be defective etc but I would love to know what in addition to the MOT legislation the UK noise laws are?
