| Hi
Just joined looks like this site is great on info. I have a problem with a warning light on dash told it was Lambda sensor. Unable to find anyone local with proper detailed knowledge but told no one has ever known 1 fail. Can anyone advise me where I can purchase a 4 pin sensor eliminator.
Had a quote for new Lambda best part £200 book says 10mins to fit! Please can anyone help NEV | |

| Hi Nev - welcome on board. Someone here should be able to help you with your problem - unfortunately, not me, as mine is so old ii's on carbs. You'd be better off just saying "hello" on this thread & opening up a new thread for the sensor problem - it'll have more viewings if the problem is highlighted in the heading.
All the best | |

| Nev - go the main page, second section down is "The Garage", pick the relevant topic - I'm guessing "Fuel Injection Modules, etc" or "Exhaust" - if it's in the wrong topic section, Dave (Mr I) will probably move it to the correct section | |

| Hi Nev, Cut wire '23' from the ECU and it disables the O2 sensors and also stops the light coming on, cut it about 3" from the ECU and wrap some tape or heatshrink over the exposed ends, I say 3" in case you ever want to reconnect it together. | |

| It very easy to do Nev, save some cash by doing it yourself, 3 allen screws to remove side panel and ECU, the wires are numbered 1 to 10 then 11 to 18 then 19 to whatever, just count along within the number range to find '23' and snip it with scissors, a bit of tape over the ends and jobs done, two screws back holding the ECU in place and 1 for the side panel, ride away | |
