| In my opinion an essential after market, I started to notice very small scratches on my tank near the seat so I bought this. I reckon they look cool too & add to the classic cruiser look

| Monty if you zoom in on mine you might be able yo make out that it has boulevard stamped in to it, so I would say yes I imported mine from the USA and it cost next to nothing really when you consider what we would probably have to pay for one in rip off britain It came through my letter box within two weeks with no extra's to pay, I have ordered loads from the USA and never had a problem Link - Check these out | |

| As long as it's a close fit then I do modify with the sewing machine. Thanks for the help, I'll place an order after the wargaming today.

| Cheers, its fits on really easy & by looking at it you wouldn't realise how it actually does fit. It has plastic lips sewn on that literally just grips on around the tank lip, apart from the top section which is gripped by the speedo housing. | |

| My question would be does the wind get under the bra and cause it to flap in the wind. Seems like if this were to happen you could get scratches from the bra edges. Just wondering. | |

| No Chuck it doesn't flap in the wind & they are designed to stop the tank from getting scratched! | |

| Sounds like a good idea then. Just afraid it might flap in the wind. I have the tank bib that comes down the center of the tank and am very pleased with the one I have. Also covers scratches on the lower end of the tank, from my jacket. | |

the one I recieved has a strap that goes across under the tank. Instructions say undo tank and pull that strap from the front down under the tank after about 45 minutes i gave up.I couldn't for the life of me get it to go under the front and pull back in place. I gave up. Does it need that strap. Will just the little grips and speedometer hold it on. HELP!!!!!!!j

| Hi Tex, It's probably easier if two of you fit it first time, The strap is needed, they are tight first time you fit them and don't undo the tank ? If you stand over the bike holding the elastic under the front of the tank and to the sides, then get someone else to pull the vinyl part backwards into position, then fix under the clocks and with the clips at the sides and back | |

Hate to be a pest but does that strap end up straight across bottom of tank or does it have to be hooked on something forward. Thanks for the help

| No worries Tex, The strap hooks around the rubber bungs underneath the tank when pulled into place and it's not visible when fitted. | |

So if any of you guys come across one for an M50 please PM me. The M800/50 tank is slightly different than the C and the bad news is the M800 tank cover has been discontinued, You needed Suzuki part number 990A0-76010 for the Black vinyl one or 990A0-76009 for the carbon fibre look one, the M one goes straight across the tank as opposed to rising towards the speedo housing, you could try sourcing one from Suzuki dealers as they are genuine Suzuki accessories. lol Crash beat me to it

| Thanks guys ,I'm finding some USA shops with old stock but they don't ship to uk(I've emailed them in case they will if requested),found one but the total cost is about $80 which is a rip-off concidering the cost of the C50 item. Will keep looking and if I find a place with some still in stock I'l post it on here. | |

no I didn't. I didn't have any help the more I tried the more frustrated I got. I sent it back and ordered something different. I will post it with pics when I get it. I have my bars off putting on risers. Can't get out a work on it The damn wind has blown for a week. Going to work on moving my headlight forward while it s down. Believe or not I twisted one of the 8mm bolts on riser off. Had to take it back apart and get another bolt. Bought a torque wrench.
