Hey guys!

I've got a repeating issue with my C800 K7 rear turn signal lights. It's very exhausting, I'd appreciate any comments, thoughts, tips or just a supportive word of yours.

Almost every time I overlook a hole in the road and ride over it one (both) of my rear indicator breaks between a rubber part and a metal screw part. Indicators then stay hung on electric wires.

Sometimes it's enough to ride over a small roughness on the road – something that other cruisers usually pass without any damage.

I've already broken 3 indicators. I'm already tired of changing it once or twice a riding season.

I admit that I haven't bought original parts since aftermarket is half of price. Also I'm not a first owner so there's a possibility that the indicators I've bought a bike with weren't original as well.

I bought original Suzuki dealer turn lights today. I'm gonna give them a try. For the last time. But I'm afraid it won't be a solution. (Please tell me it will.)

Have you guys experienced similar issue with your bikes? If so how did you solve it?

May it be a Suzuki engineering mistake (big heavy indicators positioned low on a rear fender)?

Is there any DIY option how to strengten the indicators?

Thank you so much for your responses.
