Here is my VX800 that I converted to a cruiser.
When I first saw the VX advertised for sale I fell in love with that tall narrow V motor and wondered what it would look like sitting in a cruiser frame (I had not found the Intruders at that point!). I purchased it sight unseen, had it shipped from interstate and on arrival took it for a spin around the block then pulled it into the garage and began pulling it down.
It was a planned 6 month project that took closer to two years with many trial and error moments. The changes included: - VS800 tank - Forward controls - 4 x electronic gauges (speedo is GPS) - Water temperature sensor in radiator lines - Yamaha seat - Honda 750 side panels - Harley soft tail rear fender (the VX taillight is the same light) - Polished wheel rims - custom screen - German fiberglass chin fairing - Cutaway exhaust - Hard saddlebags with integral lights
