Removed baffles today then lined my pipes with exhaust packing held in shape by wire mesh. Lovely deep thud
Lost a little backpressure but not as much as riding with wide open pipes and not too loud - just rumbly. Then I fixed back the extensions, turned down to hide everything:
Can't wait to go riding when this bloody rain stops! Will post video as soon as I can.

The short cut pipes without baffles actually hurt my ears they are so loud. This lining gives the same quality of sound without the volume

Well done John,before long PECO exhausts will be asking you to design their exhaust systems.It is great when a plan comes together,gives you you that extra boost.

The proof of the pudding is always when we test the bike on the road. So this morning, as the sun was shining early, I popped down to the pier with me camera before the tourists started arriving and had a little 'burn-up' all to my self:
