Battery

I have been looking at batteries and the price range is quite wide. What kind of price do you need to pay for a decent battery also what are your thoughts on sealed acid or gel? All input welcomed.

dont know what you'd pay for your bike but if i needed a new battery i would get MF never had one let me down yet the one on my current bike has gone flat twice (cause of alarm) i charged it and it worked fine since get a good one if you can mid range price should serfice

I tend to go for Yuasa batteries as a rule, the Yuasa YTX12-BS is the replacement for stock.

Gel batteries used to be a bit more powerful I think but then led acid batteries caught up. Only really worth buying a gel battery if you need to lay it down like they do in a lot of sport bikes due to lack of space
