Diversion, progress so far.

Most of the parts removed so far have been degreased and cleaned, will be doing the same to the engine/frame next, I'll be ordering new exhaust system as the original lets it down a bit due to rust, I'll be rebuilding the forks and cleaning and balancing the carbs, new plugs, air filter, oil filter and oil change then its time for reassembly.

It looks a tidy bike for it's age John 

Wow what a great condition it seems to be in, looks like you going to get seriously busy with that.

John .... I must admit to being rather envious of you having time to get 'stuck into' your project like that. I don't seem to have much time myself at the moment due to 'work pressures' .... but it is helping the 'bike fund' so it ain't all bad.
The Divvie is a sound machine & it looks like you've got a good 'un there !

Oh no that I look forward to.

Some pics of finished bike, spent around 45-50 hours on the project, budget went out the window when I decided to replace exhaust cans. Total cost including purchasing the bike is £1075.

Looks good John, perhaps too good to use in the winter eh???
