2005 m800 frame, will 2003 model work

hi all,

i recently bought a 2005 vz800 (my first ever bike). however it was slightly damaged , majority has bee sorted but the frame was a little dented and bent.  if i buy a vl800 frame from 2003 will all my parts move over ok or will they be a different shape?

Tough call,  I'd say yes but I'd double and treble check first, different part numbers but not sure what the differences could be?

This is the fiche for the VZ 800, this is the fiche for the VL 800.  The part numbers are very similar, but not identical - I'd say they look the same.  I'd be inclined to print both of them out & compare them side by side.  

If you're still looking for a mudguard, there's this one on ebay at the moment.  I have one off an '01 Volusia, but I'm not sure how that'd look
