exhaust

I am struggling to find mufflers for my vx800, I have found a pair that although are sound need to be chromed, does anyone know where I could get this done and an idea of cost ?

Hoe bad are they ?  The problem with having used pipes chromed is that they have to have the old chroming stripped first & the dippers are not keen on cleaning exhausts as it gunks up their chems.  Have you thought of having them ceramic coated ?

Or simply get them repaired/welded & paint them matt black with heat resistant paint?

the mufflers have already been welded and they are a mess, I have found the short pipes and connecting pipe with mufflers in Italy for less than 250 shipped and think I may go that way
